My approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy with a warm, resource-oriented perspective. Together, we create a space where all family members \u2013 especially children and adolescents \u2013 feel seen, heard, and valued.  <\/p><p>We look together at current stressors and recurring patterns in everyday family life and explore practical, realistic solutions. At the heart of this work is the relationship \u2013 between parents and children, between siblings, and also the relationship each person has with themselves. <\/p><p>Therapy is not only about solving problems. It\u2019s about deepening understanding, finding new ways of relating to one another, and growing together as a family.<\/p><p>I work in both German and English with families, children, and adolescents of all ages.<br>I support children and adolescents facing a wide range of psychological challenges. My core areas of focus include depression, anxiety disorders, chronic stress, trauma-related symptoms, and sleep problems. Following this, I spent 2.5 years in the United States, where I significantly deepened my English language skills. Upon returning, I continued working in academic research for several years. <\/p><p>Over time, however, my desire to work more directly with people and support them through emotional challenges became increasingly clear. This led me to pursue advanced training to become a federally licensed psychotherapist in Switzerland, with a specialization in cognitive behavioral therapy \u2013 an evidence-based and structured approach that resonates with me both professionally and personally.<br>I completed my clinical training at the outpatient clinic of the Psychiatric Services Baselland. In this role, I gained broad experience beyond individual therapy \u2013 from crisis intervention to leading a DBT group therapy program, and conducting forensic psychological assessments. A particularly meaningful part of my work was supervising junior colleagues. Heart-based medicine is a skill that can be taught, acquired, and studied like any other specialty. The multi-professional team is guided by the philosophy and findings of the Heart-Based Medicine Foundation, which scientifically researches, validates and communicates the energy potential and healing power of love and human-centered medicine.
